Hello everyone,
I am now refreshed from a good night sleep in our hotel.
If you have read my family's blog than you know that we went to Noah's Ark yesterday. You know in the bible it tells you the measurements but I don't understand them very well. I get the point that it has got to be BIG, but how big? So the life size replica of this boat really told be how exactly big it was. It was huge. You couldn't even get the height in one photo, unless you were far away. You know, I understand how it took Noah 100 years to build it. I don't know how the Ark Encounter people didn't use 100 years. Though we have many things that would have made it easier.
Anyway after the Ark tour we went to Emzara's Kitchen. A restaurant that is named after Noah's wife. I think they made up all of Noah's family's wives names. My dad thought maybe the restaurant would be traditional Israeli food. Well it wasn't. I had chicken fingers (in America chicken tenders) along with Sidewinder fries. The fries were the best thing ever. But they're named after a snake!
On the other blog my mom mentioned my favorite part of yesterday, the lady commenting on my clarinet playing! I like the people here in Kentucky. They're very friendly.
Can't wait for breakfast, they eat doughnuts for breakfast here!! It's awesome!!
Today we do the Civil War Museum and the Underground Railroad Museum. Looking forward to it! The museums are in Cincinnati too so that's even better!
Will keep you posted,
Anna-Lee
