We have finally made it to Kentucky after what seems like a 10 hour dirve! Our drive was long and we made many stops. We thought it would take a shorter time, but it took us longer. We did manage to find our way easier than last night thanks to "Henrietta" (our GPS).
Once we got to our hotel, I haven't been feeling too great. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow as we go to Noah's Ark (the Ark Encounter).
My Dad has just gone down to get a hotel supper for us. I am having a chicken Caesar and can't wait.
I am looking forward to going to a restaurant tomorrow and meeting Kentuckians so I can hear the southern drawl!
Already we have seen many different laws like being able to talk on cell phone and text while driving, and no helmets while driving motorcycles!
In New York there were even places you could pull over (called texting stops) all over. That's where pull over and it's a little picnic area where you can text. (Hopefully it would have wifi there!)
I officially love Cinncinati with it's view of the Ohio River, its sky scrapers, huge football field with bleachers, and a pastel look rather than dark buildings like Ottawa. It looks very water front like Toronto!.
